I have had my dog on Nutri Thrive mixed with her grain-free food for 5 weeks now her yeasty skin condition seems to be flaring up and I am wondering is this a die off reaction or is nutri thrive irritating her skin?

So Glad to Find This Info
by: Dawne

Great question, great answer!

Thank you for this.

I feel confident that Nutri Thrive is a good product for my boy, who is slowly healing from a systemic yeast infection that has likely been low-grade for years before flaring up and forcing me to see it for what it is in 2021.

I am going to make sure I'm giving him enough of the proper herbs to continue to kill the yeast overgrowth, but I definitely want to supplement him with lots of nutrients to rebuild and balance his gut flora.

Thanks again!

Your yeasty dog
by: Sandra

Hello Mary,

Nutri Thrive is not a supplement I use or recommend, so I'm not really in a position to comment on it.

However, upon looking at the ingredient list etc, it seems to be a good general nutrition supplement but is not specifically directed toward your dog's yeast problem.

The yeast flare up is likely because the product has increased nutrient intake ( good thing ) and therefore has caused your dog's body to ramp up cellular response which can temporarily produce more symptoms as the body attempts to regain balance.
