Nature's Sunshine Supplement Dosage

My West Highland Terrior has had yeast candida for several years. It seems to flare up at times. This summer it has flared up the most since I started feeding her raw dog food over 2 years ago.

In a previous article, an author from this site recommended Nature's Sunshine Liver Cleanse Formula, Yeast/Fungal Detox and Protease Plus as a treatment.

Do you know what the dosage for each supplement, based on how much the dog weighs? My dog weighs 14 lbs. Also, is there a recommended time of day and giving with or without food for each supplement.

Newfie Mix supplement dosage

Hi there!!! My boy with very severe yeast issues has been on a raw diet for almost 5 weeks now. I’m just now finding your page and I’d like to start him on these supplements but need to know the dosages. He’s approximately 65lbs. I’d like to do the yeast/fungal detox, liver cleanse, probiotic 11, and protease plus. Thank you!

Supplement amounts for little dog

Hi Libby,

You can give your little dog 1/2 capsule of Yeast/Fungal Detox in food once a day. You will have to open the capsule. Along with one capsule of Liver Cleanse once a day in PM food. You should also be using a a probiotic supplement. I recommend Probiotic 11.

Probiotic 11 and Protease Plus work better if given on an empty stomach between meals. If that's not possible, in food is OK. One capsule a day, of each.

All of this is helped by giving you dog a 24 hr fasting period, once per week to let the digestive system clear out, rest and heal.
