Diesel and Dave

Hi Edie,

My sweet boxer, Diesel was the most gentle and loving dog ever. He truly was a gentle giant.

Diesel had developed numerous health issues and for three years, we did everything possible to make him feel loved and cared for.

The day came when our vet told us he was in pain, and we should consider putting him to sleep. My husband and I struggled with this and decided to wait until after the Christmas Holidays, two weeks away. We wanted our little boy with us for just one more Christmas. The day after Christmas we took him to the vet and stayed with him until he was in a better place.

Five days after Diesel passed, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He passed away 7 months later, and I know Diesel was there to welcome him. I have comfort knowing my two guys are together and someday we will be a family again.
