I found those answers and want to share them with you.
Who would have thought that at this point in my life I would be sitting at my computer writing about Sandy Loves Dogs. Helping dogs get healthy again, is my way of expressing my love of dogs. If you knew me well, you'd know how far I've come.
In 2004, my partner Fergus and I, retired to gorgeous Prince Edward County, located on the Bay of Quinte, in south eastern Ontario, Canada. We live just outside of a small village called Cherry Valley, which is not far from the main town of Picton. 'The County' as it is so affectionately called, is almost an island. It is a small piece of land that juts out into the Bay of Quinte, which is part of Lake Ontario. It is a pastoral paradise here, surrounded by water. It feels like another world. We love old century homes, and since arriving in ' The County ' have restored three of them. Currently, we live in the third one, an old 1850's farmhouse, located very close to Sand Banks Provincial Park. Here's where we live.

Our latest project, has been the completion of an addition at the back of our house. We have incorporated a small stone building from the 1860's into the renovation. It is now a lovely bedroom, part of our pet friendly bed and breakfast called Grey Stone Return. Our two bedroom self contained suite is available for rent daily, for weekends or weekly, to people who would like to visit Prince Edward County. Don't forget that Sandy loves dogs. So don't leave Rover at home. There is so much to do and see in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Everything from beaches at the Sand Banks Provincial Park, to award winning wineries, from fine dining to world class scenery. Bring your bike and explore the country roads. For anyone who loves dogs, loves to be with their dog, and would love to bring their dog on vacation with them, come visit us in Prince Edward County, Ontario. While you're here be sure to visit the Prince Edward Dog Park located in the town of Picton. Take your dog for a walk to Soup Harbour. Look out over Lake Ontario. Explore the beach. It is usually deserted. Skip some stones into the water. Throw a piece of driftwood for your dog. It is just a short jaunt from our house. Nobody to bother you here...
Migrate together. All dogs love to migrate ( move forward together ) with a trusted pack leader...that would be you. I first came across that term, while reading Be the Pack Leader by Cesar Millan : The Dog Whisperer I love that term...migrate together. Walking together, migrating, moving forward together with a purpose, is a primal, ancient ritual, that dogs and humans have been doing together for thousands of years.
I love dogs. I love to walk with my dogs. I think they love it too. They always let me know when it's time to go for The Walk.At night here, you can hear the coyotes yip and howl. A Little History Growing up, our family pets were among my best friends. They were always there, ever ready to play, or make me feel better when I felt blue. So many pets, gone now, but never forgotten. They will live in my memory forever. Forever loved. It was from my parents that I learned to love animals. Every once in a while, a new pet would show up at our house. Who knows from where? My father would just shrug and say " Well, you know your Mother, she loves dogs "...and that's all the explanation there would be. It could have been a cat too, in fact I think there were actually more cats than dogs, but who's counting? It never occurred to me that my love of dogs could lead me to the work I do now. Since retiring and becoming a Natural Health Care Coach, more and more of my wonderful clients are dogs. Our pets are completely at our mercy. They must do what we say, when we say it, and they must eat what we give them. Can you imagine living your life like that, having someone else make all your choices for you? Since you love dogs too, make the choices good ones, natural ones. Holistic health care for pets is my special area of expertise. It is so heart warming to watch a sick pet get better. We offer health assessments for people and pets and holistic solutions are available here. So, Sandy loves dogs, indeed... I am so happy that I am able to share my knowledge and my love of dogs, with you on this website. Guess what? I made this website myself Meet Our Family Sandy loves dogs and lives with four of them. Jack, Pager, Teddy and Tuxedo...and four cats also.
Oh, and Sandy not only loves dogs, but so does Fergus. That's a good thing. Here we are, Sandra and Fergus, with our dogs. Maggie ( gone over The Rainbow Bridge now ), Jack, and I'm holding little Tuxedo.
